INTRODUCTION

education and personality development. It is widely
used throughout the world. This project work helps
students improve their grammar, vocabulary, writing
skills and understanding of literature.
Through this project, students learn correct sentence

CHAPTER 1 : A LETTER TO GOD

SHORT SUMMARY
“A Letter to God” is a story about Lencho, a poor farmer
whose crops are destroyed by a hailstorm. Lencho had
great faith in God. He wrote a letter to God asking for
one hundred pesos to help his family survive.
The postmaster and the employees of the post office
collected money and sent it to him. Lencho believed
that the post office employees had stolen part of the
money. The story highlights faith, innocence and
kindness.
