Ans. In Hindi, the word for winnowing is ‘पवनाई’ (Pavanai) or ‘विनोइ’ (Vinoi). People use a ‘सूप’ (soop) or ‘चलनी’ (chalni) made of bamboo or plastic to separate grain from husk with the help of wind.
